When we think of the OTC Markets, we often think of smaller companies, true microcaps that may be early in their development. So it may surprise you that there are a number of brands that are listed on the OTC Markets that you may encounter every day, here are a few.
Tootsie Roll Industries Class B (Tii:TROLB), while the common stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol TR, the class B shares trade on the OTC Markets. Tootsie Roll Industries produces so many iconic candy brands, including Tootsie Rolls and Tootsie Pops, Junior Mints, Double Bubble, Charleston Chew and Charm’s Blow Pops. Based in Chicago, Tootsie Roll has been satisfying sweet cravings since 1896.
Adidas AG (Tii:ADDYY) is a global leader in the sporting goods industry with the core brands adidas and Reebok. Headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany, the company employs about 60,000 people across the globe and generated sales of 23.6 billion euros in 2019.
Heineken N.V. (Tii:HEINY) produces and distributes beverages internationally. The company first acquired Amstel in 1968, we’ve been translating our passion for brewing into building an unparalleled range of great beer brands. Led by their flagship global brand Heineken, they have over 300 beverage brands available across more than 190 countries.
Crimson Wine Group (Tii:CWGL) is one we mentioned in an article about publicly traded wine and spirits companies. Based in Napa Valley, Crimson produces and sells wine under some very famous brands, including Pine Ridge Vineyards, Seghesio Family Vineyards and Seven Hills Winery.
BAE Systems (Tii:BAESY) operates in the defense, security and aerospace industries. Based in Farnborough, England, BAE has grown into the U.K.’s largest defense contractor and delivers a wide range of products and services for air, land, and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and support services.

The company operates through four segments: SoftBank Vision Fund and Other SBIA-Managed Funds, SoftBank, Arm, and Brightstar. Its Vision Fund tends to get the most attention, with about $100 billion in capital.
Hanover Foods Corp. (Tii:HNFSA; Tii:HNFSB) is a company I noticed several months ago when my local supermarket started carrying large can of vegetables under the Hanover brand. Founded in 1924, Hanover Foods Corporation grows, packs, markets and distributes a full line of canned, frozen, fresh and snack food specialty products. The growing Hanover family of brands includes such popular names as Castleberry’s, John Cope’s, Bickel’s, Wege, Dan Dee, Golden Gourmet and Spring Glen. The company is also a kosher certified food processor, adding to the value it brings to supermarkets and food service customers.
Based in Harrisburg, Pa., Hershey Creamery Co. (Tii:HRCR), not to be confused with the famous chocolate company, is a producer and distributor of bulk ice cream and ice cream novelties under the Hershey brand. The company distributes its ice cream products though parlors, restaurants, healthcare customers, K-12 schools, and colleges/universities, as well as other non-traditional sites, such as campgrounds, amusement parks, and others. The company has also been quite innovated in providing ice cream for all tastes and diets, including innovative flavors like “Berry Cookie Cake” ice cream, “Berries & the Beach” frozen yogurt and the Oatmazing line of small-batch, vegan-approved oat milk ice cream.
