When we think of the OTC Markets, we often think of smaller companies, true microcaps that may be early in their development. So it may surprise you that there are a number of brands that are listed on the OTC Markets that you may encounter every day, here are a few.
Tootsie Roll Industries Class B (Tii:TROLB), while the common stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol TR, the class B shares trade on the OTC Markets. Tootsie Roll Industries produces so many iconic candy brands, including Tootsie Rolls and Tootsie Pops, Junior Mints, Double Bubble, Charleston Chew and Charm’s Blow Pops. Based in Chicago, Tootsie Roll has been satisfying sweet cravings since 1896.

Hanover Foods Corp. (Tii:HNFSA; Tii:HNFSB) is a company I noticed several months ago when my local supermarket started carrying large can of vegetables under the Hanover brand.
